A few minutes ago, one of the popular Nigerian entertainment blogs released a video of a lady who happened to be one of the Nigerian Youth Corps Members currently serving in Calabar narrating the incident that happened to her.
Recall that two days ago, a video showing how a member of the National Youth Service Corps was dehumanised by a female Nigerian soldier went viral on social media and after this, the Nigerian Army reacted by saying what happened is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
However, this lady who was beaten made it known that she is thankful for getting out of Calabar. She made it known that the military never threatened her when they called her to their office, but they felt sorry for what the female soldier did.
She made it known that ever since the incident, she has not been herself because remembering the whole thing that was done to her reduced her to nothing.
Furthermore, she ended the video by encouraging the rest of the corps members to be strong and to always fight for their rights.
