Singer Lizzo Reverses Decision Days After ‘Quitting,’ Clarifies Intentions

American singer Lizzo has clarified that her statement “I quit” was not in reference to music.

Recent reports indicated that the four-time Grammy winner expressed frustration over constant bullying for clout, leading her to state that she was “quitting.” However, the 35-year-old has since clarified that her statement referred to quitting giving “negative energy attention.”

Speaking in a video message shared via her social media page, Lizzo stated: “When I say I quit, I mean I quit giving any negative energy attention… What I’m not gonna quit is the joy of my life, which is making music.”
