Chance The Rapper and Wife Kristen Corley Announce Divorce

American celebrity couple Chance The Rapper and his wife, Kirsten Corley, have announced their decision to divorce. They shared a joint statement via the rapper’s Instagram account on Wednesday, revealing that after a period of separation, they have mutually decided to part ways.

In their statement, the couple expressed their intention to pursue joint legal custody of their daughters. This decision underscores their commitment to prioritize the well-being of their children amidst the changes in their marital status.

“After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.

“God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together,” the statement partly read.

In 2015, while still dating, the couple welcomed their first child, Kensil. However, they encountered a breakup in 2016. Despite this, they reconciled in 2018 and subsequently tied the knot in March 2019.

Their family expanded when they announced the arrival of their second daughter, Marli, in September 2019. These milestones marked both joyous occasions and challenging moments in their relationship journey.
