Kevin Spacey Refuses to “Sit Back and Be Attacked” by Channel 4 Documentary Unveiling New Sexual Allegations

Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey has asserted that he will not passively endure accusations leveled against him in an upcoming Channel 4 documentary delving into allegations of sexual assault.

This development follows Spacey’s acquittal a year ago on several sexual offense charges brought forth by four men spanning from 2001 to 2013, after a trial at Southwark Crown Court.

In a preview for the forthcoming two-part docuseries titled “Spacey Unmasked,” slated to debut this month, a narrator hints at men sharing their encounters with the renowned actor. Spacey, on Thursday, expressed frustration, stating that he had repeatedly asked Channel 4 for more than seven days to address the allegations detailed in their documentary. However, he claimed the broadcaster declined his requests.

Taking to social media platform X, Spacey highlighted his discontent, stating that Channel 4’s refusal to grant him sufficient time to respond to “anonymized” and “non-specific” allegations dating back 48 years was unjust.

He further criticized the network’s approach, denouncing the documentary as a “one-sided” endeavor driven by ratings, and affirmed his refusal to be passive amidst what he perceives as an unjust portrayal.

The American actor then announced his intention to provide a response over the weekend, suggesting that Channel 4 and Roast Beef Productions, the co-producers of the documentary, might be left “speechless” by his forthcoming statement.
