On Thursday, May 2, the lifeless body of a woman, yet to be identified, was discovered on a bridge in Abuja. Local residents were startled to find the body abandoned there, and upon inspection, it was evident that there were no signs of mutilation.
Posting photos of the body, an X user, wrote;
‘’This young girl was found dead this morning, after Mpape junction around Abuja top bridge that connect Berger and AYA. They couldn’t find any useful information about her or any I.D to get through to her family and relatives. Any one with useful information about her or her”
Upon reaching out to the FCT police command, LIB received confirmation of the incident from SP Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson. Adeh assured that an investigation has been launched into the matter.
‘’The Commissioner police has ordered an immediate investigation on the incident, as he directed the DC CID to conduct discreet investigation to ascertain the identity of the corpse and equally the remote cause of death. Further development will be communicated.”
