Charley Boy Advises EFCC: “Focus on More Important Matters, Leave Bobrisky Alone”

Veteran entertainer Charly Boy has criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for its handling of the arrest, arraignment, and detention of crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky.

In a post shared on his social media handle, Charly Boy urged the commission to redirect its focus to more pressing issues and refrain from targeting individuals like Bobrisky, whom he asserted are not the primary concerns facing Nigeria.

Bobrisky was apprehended on April 3 and brought before the court on Friday, April 5, on charges related to the misuse of the Naira. Following a guilty plea, the court directed that he be held in EFCC custody until April 9 for sentencing. However, the judgment date has been rescheduled due to the Eid-Fitri holiday.
